At VPD, we offer a variety of behaviour management techniques tailored to your child’s specific needs. We make every attempt to use our best judgment in determining the best form of sedation to suit the child. Treatment under General anaesthesia (GA) is a common form of sedation and safest amongst all. GA administers deep sleep as our goal is to provide the safest and most comfortable way to treat young children with extensive decay, also for those suffering from dental phobia or those who lack cooperative ability. In this day care procedure, we perform all necessary treatment in one single visit. Please keep in mind that we do not choose a treatment method based on convenience of the dentists or the parents/guardians. Our goal is to facilitate a pleasant experience that does not cause your child a lifetime of fearful dental visits. As pediatric dentists, we strive to make the dental experience easy and pleasant for the child first, and then as easy as possible for the parents and dentists.
